So I am now looking at upgrading my a-arms and front shocks.  I solely do trail riding, and am wondering if I should be looking a long travel kit or just a standard kit?  Is a long travel setup more for mx (jumps, etc) or is it more for trails?

Kenneth

You'll get a lot of different opinions on your question. At one time LT kits use to be a lot more expensive when it came time to buy shocks. However, Motowoz, Fox and the new Axis Pro Airs are the same price regardless if you want long travel or standard travel. I'd go for the long travel because you might wish you did in the future. LT or St travel will be a lot better than stock if the shocks are correctly valved for your riding application.  We have a variety of different suspension packages on sale. You can contact us at 270-774-1982 if you have any question.

I think a big part is how much money you want to spend.... That will tell you what you can afford. LT suspension is still more expensive than regular.

I dig the high clearance of those arms, they look expensive though!

I have the older Ishock i5500 Kit. (single rate springs) new ones have dual rate springs.

I love my kit. Is there better out there. Sure. But I wouldn't trade for anything else.

+1  Then you can at least find out what you can afford. There's some really good options out there even for just shocks if you want to keep the stock a-arms.

you could even pick up a nice set of YFZ Shocks of e-bay or YFZCentral.com and put those on. they are a WORLD of a difference better than the stock 06 pogo shocks.

I had them on mine. They were amazing night and day differnece
