A dumb question but ...

What's the easiest way to adjust the rear shock? I understand how to set it, but not how to get access to it with a hammer, screwdriver, wrench, etc. to change the set up. Seems every angle I approach it from is insufficient and I'm fairly sure I shouldn't have to remove the airbox or anything to get back there.

Please and thanks.

i recall doing this infront of the right rear tire somewhere...afterwards i kinda wished i had bought the tool to adjust it

A spanner wrench to do this properly costs about $9... tearing up the ring on that shock will cost alot more..

Horsepower is like a condom, I'd rather have it and not need it.. Than need it and not have it.

I've got the spanner wrench but haven't been able to fit it in there in a way that would let me turn it.
It's amazing: I was able to rebuild the 383 for my '66 Charger but can't adjust the damn shock on a quad.

Found out the spanner wrench I bought is the wrong size, but was able to rotate the ring a hair allowing me to get a screwdriver on it so went with the mallet/screwdriver trick.

Thanks for the help.
