High Ground clearance A-arms?
« on: February 03, 2009, 04:37:25 PM »
I've seen some gullwing style A-arms before, but is there a true high ground clearance A-arm available for the Raptor 700?

Because of some of the terrain I ride, the A-arm clearance can be very important to what line I chose when tackling a trail, course, or hill.  The rear can slide over stuff, but if you've ever hooked an A-arm while riding, you know how dangerous it can be.

Nice  :grin_nod:

I think there's a few other brands and styles, hopefully our sponsors will chime in.

You here allot about long travel and +2,3,4 etc, but not much about increased clearance arms.

I always like the ATV Four Play A-Arms. ATV Four Play was the first to release and CAD test MGC A-ARMS.

MGC Features:  CAD developed for the optimal shock to A arm motion ratio. These suspension components are for the serious motocross, cross country and desert racers. Whether it’s a rut, rock or a stump this design clearly has advantages over the normal conventional straight A arm and the “Gull Wing” design.

No sales pitch needed  ............ just a great product at an affordable price. We have been busy wrapping up the new UTV kits. We are around just not on the boards alot right now, but that will change in the next week or so.

Here are some shots of my girlfriend's Raptor with JD Performance MGC LT and Motowoz.  Waiting for Jim to send the shocks for my Raptor, already have the same a-arms ready to go on.

Whatcha all think of the setup?   Oh, decided to spend way too much and have Motowoz on the rear also!
