I've done root beer and it turned out ok.  I also make my own wine.  I hope to barrel a new batch this fall.

???  Interesting hobby for a guy in your position. J/K. Homemade wine is some heavy stuff.

My g-pa and myself are going to be making some wine this summer. Dandilion wine.

Takes a lot of dandilions, but its supposedly amazing stuff.

Got it to it back on college for a project.  I've been collecting supplies since then, I have a grape press, barrels, and all the bottling supplies.  Then I started growing my own grapes out west.  I plan to plant a few vines that grow well in this area this spring at the house.

Drinking it doesn't bother you?

I allow myself to drink wine and champagne.  I've never had a problem with those two.  I have a two glass rule that I have been able to follow.

I made one good batch and one bad. so I called it quits. too much work and time lost if it turns out bad.

I know some micro brews have classes every now and then.  Could be something to look into.  I know I took a wine making class out west and I picked up a lot of info.  Look around on the brew making forums and see what you can find in your area.

That's awesome. You made it sound worse before.  I tried that with smoking. No use   All in or all out. Cigars once or twice a year.
