Where are you from and what's the weather like...

Not that it matters to much for summer riding, I'd suggest something with a higher weight...
I'm running 10w-40 in Minn. (not synthetic though)

Yeah I was thinking of running 0w-30 or 10w-30 it gets hot here.  But I was actually meaning as far as defrent blends for Cars vs for Quads.  Cause i'm not sure but don't they have a 4Wheeler blend?  Thats what I was refering to. Sorry for the mix up thanks Krandall

Micheal, Unless I'm having a stupid moment (possible), the 10w-40 would serve better in warmer climates. And Krandall should be running the zero-30 for cooler climate.  he needs less viscosity in cool, or winter, you need more in heat or summer.

Aaron

PS I run a 10w-40 Amsoil

I'm an Amsoil dealer and run the AFF 0w-40 in all three of our quads, not to mention my diesel.
We live in Colorado and generally ride above 5,000 feet and don't switch between winter and summer. Ridden in weather as cold as 20 degrees and as hot as 95 in the summer down in New Mexico.
Mine: 2008 Raptor 700R, Renthall's, skids, nerfs, more to come
Hers: 2007 Raptor 350 SE
Son's: 2008 Raptor 250 SE, GYTR Intake and Pipe
Retired: 2005 Raptor 660, too many mods to list, 2004 Raptor 110
Need Amsoil or have questions? PM me!

currently, I'm running this http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mcf.aspx  10w-40.  I couldn't find any AFF.  I doubt there are any problems with it, but I'd like to get the right oil.  Can you PM me a qoute for a case of AFF 0w-40??

Thanks

Aaron

I do sell to individuals but unless you live in Colorado and can pick up locally, the shipping costs make the cost savings very minimal. Local pickups I can sell much cheaper as shipping costs have really increased with the fuel prices  :(

Here's a link for ordering online if your interested: https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/default.aspx?zo=1166984

I really am not a hard core salesman and don't push people and make efforts to sell Amsoil to make any money, I just have been an avid believer in their products for many years now and try to share my knowledge about their products with others that are interested. 90% of my sales are to diesel pick up owners.
