help, smooth idle ----no rev

i need help.  just got a 03 660. traded for a 660 with a broken cam jacked head, and cover.  put it back together last night.  it starts great,idles great but will not rev up loaded or unloaded.  it pops like a Evalve hanging open.  it gets warm fast,  my conclusion is running lean like big jet carb is not feeding.  didnt see anything major clogged or gummed up. previous owner had a 144 and 146 jet in, changed to 145&150. didnt try to start it again yet, any other ideas? could it be the parking break stuff?

parking brake switch may be engaged. it is a rev limiter, mine did that after crashing. there is a switch on the clutch perch, follow it to a white plug, and disconnect the plug.  hope it is that easy.

Definitely unplug the parking brake swith for starters.

Factory jets are 140-145, so bumping them to 145-150 is okay.

and would not cause that much problems that would make it not rev. It almost has to be a limiter problem.   Really, that is the easiest thing. Happened to me out riding, freaked me out. Had to hold the switch with my hand so I could get back to the truck. I smashed it when I rolled.

Any other ideas i have the same problem on my 01 raptor i have already cleaned the carbs, changed the spark plug, and by passed the clutch switch and parking brake switch as well. The bike idles fine and sounds good but when reved it bogs down. if i back of of it a little it will rev all the way up but when you romp on it, it just bogs out. HELP PLEASE!!!

It can. but not all do. My 01 was still rocking when I traded it in.
