OK I have a 2007 Raptor 700, the only things i have down to change the performance would be a trinity racing EFI controller and HMF slip on, aluminum air box, K & N air filter, and a 13 tooth front sproket. What I need help on is too much fuel being pumped thorugh the bike. I have gone through atleast five spark plugs in 5 months. Any help would be appreciated.

also i had alot of performance issues when i had a doebeck style fuel controller, i switched to the pcIII and it helped alot.

What are your settings on the controller?

Not trying to be a smart ass, just mentioning a common issue....

If you haven't cleaned your Airfilter in awhile, it will make you run very rich because not enough air is reaching the cylinder.

i would guess that your fuel controller in adding too much fuel for your modifications, a slip on can be run without a controller. id try disconnecting the controller and running it for 20 minutes, and then doing a plug check.  i would say a slip on and k&n are on the limits of a stock map.  anyone please correct me if i am wrong

I would agree that his combo would be at the edge of the stock ECU limits without EFI controller.

i used to run gytr slip on and k/n filter on stock ecu and it ran fine  :batman:

these quads run lean from the factory, i wouldnt even consider running a K&N filter and slip-on without a fuel controller.

Well K & N is basically brand new and the EFI is set how it came i dont really know where it should be...and with all my modifications plus me adding more things like a full exhaust and a stage 2 hot cam, would i have to do anything to my computer on the bike or anything at all.

Did you replace the thumb throttle in place of voice activated throttle? All you do is yell "mush!"  Raptor 700 Iditarod Edition.

I have found it to be very true from personal experiance. Mine would not run without cutting out with the but plug out and no lid with gytr filter. also some well known bulders also told me there lean from the factory and get a fuel controller before any mods. some may run fine but if you want to take your chances on melt down go ahead, but in the long run it will probably cost you more than the price of a fuel controller. The stock ecu will adjust for altitude but not fuel/air.
