And did you have any fitment issues on the right hand side by the frame?

The tether is for he bike lock on it. 

Yeah, the fitment issues need to be worked out.  Both sides are way too close to the frame for confort.  I tried to twist and turn the pipes and no dice.  Any suggestions?!?

Thanks for the help.  I am going to try that.  I am actually having issues on both sides.  Both have about a hair thickness of space before hitting the frame.
