Fire Raptor has graciously donated his Racers Edge build from the December VIP prize to RaptorSource asking us to auction it off and donate ALL proceeds to The Wounded Warrior project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).  This is a great origination dedicated to honor and empower wounded warriors.  All members will be allowed to bid on this package simply by posting the amount they would like to bid, as long as it is $1.00 higher then the previous bid.  Lets not forget this is worth $1700.00!!!!  We will need to keep this thread on topic so please keep it to bids only.  Since we are starting late in the month this auction will continue through February 15th, ending at 11:59:59 PM (Central Time Zone).  This donation will come from the forum and all its members as a good will gesture from the ATV community.  If you have any questions feel free to PM myself (Socalrappy700).

In case anyone is wondering why the admin is allowed to bid on this it is because ALL proceeds will go to the wounded warrior project.  There will be no profit or benefit to the staff of RaptorSource.  When this is complete I will be posting or donation confirmation for all to see.

a little info about Wounded Warrior Project...

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) was founded on the principle that veterans are our nation's greatest citizens. The WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world. Many of the injuries are traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns, and blast injuries that will retire these brave warriors from military service.
From the battlefield to their bedside, WWP is there to meet the needs of our wounded heroes:
We provide them with unique programs and services.
We raise awareness and enlist public support.
We provide a means for veterans to help each other.

Wounded Warrior Project began when several individuals took small, inspired actions to help others in need.

One night while watching the evening news, a group of veterans and brothers were moved by the difficult stories of the first wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq. They realized then and there that something needed to be done for these brave individuals beyond the brass bands and ticker tape parades.

The resulting objective was to provide tangible support for the severely wounded and help them on the road to healing, both physically and mentally. What had been initially viewed as a small contribution (compared with what the warriors had sacrificed while serving our country) has become WWP's signature program:"WWP backpacks delivered bedside to wounded warriors."

I'm damn proud of FireRaptor and all of Raptorsource, there is nothing more important to me than taking care of the ones who protect us.
