Man, that happened to us 3 times! Magic Proxy bid out of thin air on one. We were 3 weeks away from closing on one, seller backed out and stayed in the house.   We put a full-price bid on a house here, really nice, lost the deal, and found out it was sold for 3 grand less. Selling agent also represented the buyers....hmmm nothing fishy there.   Still bitter on that one. We did finally get our house and we love it. Keep trying, it will happen.
