You're doing MX racing?  If so I would go with the gncc.

Its a great all around race tire.  I'm sure he wont just be on the MX track.  For other riding it would be nice to have the 6 ply.

im not sure if i want a 6-ply. i think 4 is plenty. then again, i busted a 6-ply on my 350..

but everybody says the stabilizers reduce a fatigue by a LOT in any kind of riding.

I have 6 ply tires.

I can't really tell the difference, other than I don't have a bunch of flat tires when I go trail riding!
