i think i have a problem

Hello i need a bit of advise. I stated in an earlyer post  saying that i needed a map for my gytr exhaust because the two front header pipes are getting cherry red after letting the quad run on idle for aprox 5 mins. the pipe is red fron the cylinder head and stretching on for about 4 inchs. So today i thought i would try a diffrent map i downloaded the zero map to my quad and the pipes still go cherry red. I even removed the air filter to see if it was blocked it was fine but still cherry red pipes.
dose this mean the quad is running lead or ritch ? or is there a problem elsewhere.
or whay are my headers getting so hot ?

i have a 2007 raptor700
with a full gytr exhaust
fitted with a twinair air filter
and a powercommander III
the quad as no mods to the engine

The headers getting cherry red is not too uncommon, even for a good map.  How's your plug look?? and how does it run.

u can just adjust the idle mixture by modifying the numbers in the 0% throttle range from 1250 to 2250 rpm   ...
higher number is richer lower is leaner

go by the plug color cause mine glow red all the time but the plug is light brown . Dont get to concerned with thr red pipes
