Advances in technology and skill allowed the wingsuit skydiver in freefall to match the slower vertical speed of the parachutist for more than 20 seconds. The wingsuit skydiver opened his own parachute before landing.

I think its pretty insane that you can fly that slow in a wingsuit.......

I've skydived once (tandem jump) and it was an absolute rush.  I watch that video and it gets my heart going all over again.  I wanna go again!   

Now I'm watching vids of cutaways, where the main malfunctions and they go with the reserve.  Nothing really post worthy yet.  Of course, when it's your butt in the sling it's pretty darn post worthy.

Yea i watched some cutaway vids and some of them are pretty good. On my 7th jump i made which was my 2nd freefall jump i had line-over on my canopy and had to cutaway. As soon as i looked up i knew i was choppin it, i just said oh shit, here we go! I was pretty damn scared but the reserve work flawlessly as it should. Cutaways are pretty rare at the dz i jump, so far im the only one that has one this year even with all the tandem jumps they do.
