Tires for Western PA

Okay so the Razr's are slipping more than a pig covered in KY. I am looking to buy some sort of tire that is good for mostly loose dirt and muddy hills. I was looking at the GNCC's but I heard they wear fast. Any suggestions?

I live in central pa. go for the gncc's i had them till they got shredded on the dyno. Mine didnt wear fast at all here.i think it depends on if your riding on hard shale and packed dirt.I rode statetrails and loved these tires and will be getting another set before next riding season. JMO

Nothing is really good in the mud in my opinion.

I do like my Holeshot XCR's for loose dirt.

When i ride i have to go like 1/2 mile on road to the trails and 1/2 back to house. I'm usually on rocky stuff and muddy.

My XCR's are 6 ply. I hate flats!

The gncc's are 6 ply also. I ride on alot of loose dirt,mud,and big rocks. I loved the gncc's for that. They clean out quick when in mud for better traction. I have hd's right now and they suck compared to the gncc's. at least for the riding i do. alot of my buddy's that i ride with were all about the hd's until they rode mine with gncc's. Now they all have them too

Kenda XC. Cheap...and reversible tread for loose surface. Love mine.

Anyone roll with Duro Tires before? The Hook-up tire looks like a IRAZR but cheaper and still 6 ply rating. I think i might get that tire unless someone has bad to say.
