I've done many piston/big bore installs. Its pretty stright forward, just take your time and look over the manual. If you have any questions I would be more than happy to help ya out.

make sure that when you pull the plug out to view the timing marks, that you are on the i mark not the H. the i mark is top dead center. just raise the bike up in the air and put it in gear and spin the back tires till you line up the i mark with the hash mark in the window
