Okay, this is going to sound gay, but Judas Priest tore it up too. Who would have though Halford was gay.

I get bored with their songs. They do rock I just get bored, cant finish the song for some reason. If I somehow do, no way I'll do another one right after. Same thing happens with Rush, cant listen to more than one song at a time.

I just realized how good of players Metallica is. Damn.

metallica plays all their stuff with modular riffs. Really, once you learn three or four of them, you'll be able to do most by ear. Just start with open E.  and tons o' palm muting. Not solos of course. And some intros are pretty complicated, too. They are damn good at doing what they do, though.

I dont play guitar and I didnt mean it that way. I meant how freakin good of players and song writers they are all while keeping a heavier tone to it all. Just sounds freakin sick from a listeners and a musicians point of view.

its just a mental thing with that part. I just do it without even thinking about it. I want to play the end of Fade To Black but my feet get tired and I slow down too much, and I just lose focus too. gotta keep workin at it.

I miss Jason Newstead as a bass player. After Cliff's accident (way before you were born), he jumped right in and did a great job. His creativity shows on the albums after Justice.
