I think Metallica and Iron Maiden would be so freakin kick ass too see live together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GNR too but thats a bit of a different crowd.

I almost went to the GNR renuinion tour near us but parents decided no incase AXL decided to be a dickhead and stuff got outta control. It didnt happen but I respect their decision.

They are on tour in Europe.

Metallica?

I wonder how they sound in person. I've heard some that were good and some that sucked.

Some of the S&M songs are cool too if youve heard em.

I've seen Metallica Twice.

They are a great live band!!!!!

Saw them with Guns and Roses in 1992 Arrowhead Stadium, KC, Missouri. (G&N sucked ass....They played a 45 minute set, and Metallica rocked it for and 1:40 and came back and played a 30 minute encore) and in 1995 with Candlebox, Sandstone Theatre KC, MO.

~Brian

I saw them play with Danzig and Suicidal Tendencies in 94. Right after the whole haircut mullet outrage. Excellent show.

Iron Maiden is playing Monday.  I saw them a bunch of times back in the day.  Rime of the Ancient Mariner on Live after Death is THE best song ever.

"He who hath understanding recon the number of the beast for it is a human number...The number six hundred and sixty six"

That part still gives me chills.

I left alone
My mind was blank
I neded to time to think
to get the  memorys from my mind
what did i see
can i beleive?
that i saw that night
was real and not just fantasy?

Just what I saw
In my own dreams
if the reflections (something) staring back at me
cause in my dreams
its always there
it slways moves and twists in my mind
and brings me to despair
YEA!!!!!!!!!!

Run to the hills-
White man come across the sea
he brought pain and misery
he killed our trbies
he killed our creed
he took our game for his own need
he fought him hard
we fouhgt him well
out on the plains
we gave him hell!

but when it came
too much for me

blah blah blah blah

RUN TO THE HILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can almost play it on drumset but its just a bit too fast.

All those lyrics were outta memory too and I should be pretty damn close :grin_nod: :grin_nod: :grin_nod:

Maiden is awesome.

Okay, this is going to sound gay, but Judas Priest tore it up too. Who would have though Halford was gay.

I get bored with their songs. They do rock I just get bored, cant finish the song for some reason. If I somehow do, no way I'll do another one right after. Same thing happens with Rush, cant listen to more than one song at a time.

I just realized how good of players Metallica is. Damn.
