I was young, and I adjusted to fit status quo.  Flannel shirts, mullet high top Tennis shoes, whole nine yards. It was my formative late teenage years....Only to rebel against it later in life. Whole different world here. I was excited to move though. I still love the country. Soon to move back out there. But I still need to be near good sized cities. I feel cozy whenever we drive into a big town, or get off a plane in Chicago or LA. Even the smell of diesel fumes in the air makes me homesick occasionally. Mostly the weather and scenery. Midwest has it's beautiful areas, but not like the west.
