Well that meeting wasn't what I was expecting.  10 people just lost their job here, no raises and no year end bonuses.

Not like I'm too surprised.  I've been out of work for weeks.

Silver lining is you are still employed. Don't shake your finger at that. You can find an exit strategy on your own time.

Thats the plan right now.  I'll get the word out to everyone here and there.  See what comes up.  I'll go where the work is if it comes to that.

I want to talk to him tonight.  I don't want to go work there because I NEED a job, I want to go there because he NEEDS me.  I just want it to be good for both of us.

Yeah, we have a front moving through.

It was mid 50's this morning, a low 25 tonight with a chance of wintry precip.

Bastards.

Oh, and the thunderstorms last night produced a tornado last night....

... NWS survey results for tornado near Broken Arrow...

A National Weather Service team investigated the area northeast of
Broken Arrow this morning. Based on damage assessments and radar
data... it was determined an EF1 tornado occurred at 1136 PM. A
Mobile home and barn were destroyed near 43rd street south and
21oth street east. Along 209th street east from 43rd street south
to 48th street south... six power poles were snapped. Wind speeds
were estimated to be 100 miles an hour. The tornado was on the
ground for approximately one half mile... and was 50 yards wide.

Spring one day, winter the next.

Gotta love this time of year. I remember a few years ago sitting in a closet due to tornado sirens going off.

Bring on the cold weather. In the morning I am heading out to West Texas for some mule deer hunting. Got a sweet ass invite and this camping trip has a cabin. The cold will push the deer down the mountain so wish me luck!
Have a nice week and weekend everyone!
