No one must want to talk to me today, I can't get any of my family or my co-workers to answer the phone, and when I turn to the internet (sad I know) everyone is offline doing their jobs

I have a work question...I have 41hrs of combined vacation/sick time that I have to burn between now and year's end or I lose it.  Our company gets Christmas day as a holiday.  New year's is too, but I realize that's next year.

So is it better to take all of next week off and either this friday or the monday after christmas or to take the second half of next week (W-F) off and then take all of the week after off (using 1 vaca day from 2009)?

I'm going out of town for Christmas, but the festivities are held on Christmas day only.

Flynbyu

Burn it next week. I wouldn't want to burn a day of 2009's vacation the other way.

Those things make it a great day in history.  But as far as today goes its cold as shit outside.  Tons of snow and freezing rain on the way for tomorrow night.

We finally got above freezing.

Thunderstorms tomorrow, and we may see some sunshine on Friday through partly cloudy skies.
