You dad is right, not enough snow and what we do have is too soft.  Need a better base.

yea im realizing that as im looking out at our yard with some grass exposed from the yfz

and how i ride it would be dirt, not grass :grin_nod:

w/ an agressive track AND long studs, it wouldn't take much to turn the grass to dirt. We haven't had sleds at my parents place for what will be 2 years this winter @ my parents place. You can still see solid track marks in the grass where we just TORE it up.
