If there were some strong numbers posted on how the company was saving money, this would spur investors.

He doesn't have to pay for anything....food, housing, transportion, clothing or travel.  That 400k is just play money. 

I think a base salary of 1-3mil for a top ceo is on target.

Flipping through the channels the other day, I see they gave Britney F**king Spears her own reality television show. Seriously wtf.
THese are the people we choose to champion as as celebrities? And they profit from our indifference.
It just gets better and better.......

Producer to ms. spears:

"you are an absolute f**king moron and a drug crazed slut, here is some money"

I wish I could run my dept that way.

  I know, I know, if you don't like it don't watch it......blah blah f**kin blah. This kind of crap is proliferating every day life now, whereas before, it was only on here and there. It makes me sick. I have to search carefully for positive role models for my boys, but people like this get primetime billing.  It is friggin' disgusting and I want to puke.

Unfortunately, I doubt they will focus on the two positives you just mentioned. (i wasn't aware she had gotten on the right track) You don't see that in the news. You only see "train wrecks" But...if I were here, I would stay way the f**k away from the limelight, for her family's sake.
Yes, it is the kids again that pisses me off the most about stuff like this.

my wife watches tmz so I'm stuck hearing about it.  She's done quite well over the last few months and rumor is she was crazy back then because her "manager" was drugging her.  She's got everything in control now with the help of her parents.

Yeah Erich, my wife watches that stuff sometimes too. She calls it her guilty pleasure. NOt all that often thank goodness.

On a related note: I have a personal problem with all reality shows in general. The one I can't stand right now...is the one with family of 20 kids or whatever it is. How does that lady raise her kids...if she is always on her back? By watching this show, we basically reward them for screwing alot.     How do I get that contract?    Don't say a bag of white rocks either.
