From the front its a cool lookin car. But reminds me of the crossfire.

This car is much larger than the Crossfire. It was to be powered by the Hemi (425 hp). The Crossfire sat on the same platform as the SLK Benz. Many of the same parts were used. Including engine and transmission.

I think I told you about the crossfire trying to peels out at full throttle by my old house.  Douche lost control spun up onto the curb and smashed the underside of the car, he drove it off like he was cool........except I bet he didn't get far since these was a trail of oil

Curb 1 - Oil pan 0

they seem to win quite a bit. Poor RK.

The only reason it reminds me of the crossfire is the length of the hood and the rear how the wheels are basically @ the trunk.

Yes, undies are sticky now, thanx.    If there were dunes anywhere near me, I would sell the house and everything in it if I could get my hands on a rail with one of those in it.

I thought I wanted an LS7 but I'm over it.  Go to the video section of Tatum's website.  My favorite is Casey Mears at Dumont.

Steve Saleen is already affiliated with Dodge through ASC. About half of the company's $180 million to $200 million in revenue comes from the specialty car business nurtured by Saleen; the other half comes from making convertible tops for Toyota, Chrysler, General Motors and Mitsubishi, business developed by ASC.

Steve's SMS Supercars (www.SMSSupercars.com) build a special line of Challengers under the name SMS (Since the Saleen parted from founding his own company Saleen, SMS is completely different from Saleen).

The new CEO for Saleen, Marques McCammon, has stated intrest in the Viper, but is working with Ford now on a Sterling edition Mustang with a $100,000 price tag. "We are a vehicle manufacturer, but we take it to the next level" - Marques McCammon.

The 7.0L LS7 is a bad boy, but the 6.2L LS9 is the icing on the cake!

Ultra pimp.  638 horsepower.

the only thing which saleen has to do with the VIPER , not any other chrysler product, is its paint jobs.

Steve Saleen builds Challengers through SMS.

His FORMER company he started and departed in 2007 did some paint work on some 2008 models. Dodge pulled the plug on Viper December 29th, and there has not been a 2009 model built.

Getting rid of the Viper for Chrysler is a smart move for them, even though I would like to see it stick around in someay shape or form. They need to kill off the 8.4L V-10. I don't understand why Dodge can only squeeze 600-640 hp from it. GM does it with 2 less cylinders and better fuel economy. The Germans and Italians do it with 2 less liters, 2 turbos, and better fuel economy.

Exactly!  Makes a v10 just a gimmick.
