At a place along the Arkansas River we like to ride at. several people like to build jumps. I'm a little cautious about jumping stuff, so I like to roll over them and see how it feels. I rolled over this nice jump to find out someone dug a trench 6 feet deep on the other side. I nosed into it, went over the bars, and skinned my leg up pretty good on my bike. I ended up digging it out, and jumped it half a dozen times. Some of the guys I was riding with had shovels and felt it needed to be a bit bigger. We piled a lot of dirt on the lip, and packed if down  by rolling up and back on the face of the jump. Some douche on a wide as DS650 puts a huge rut in the face before me, I hit the juice and land in a nose high attitude. I can't hold on, so I let go of the bike, landing on my ass. I ripped the ass out of my shorts. I run over to my bike, which is still upright on four wheels. I climb back on, with my bloodied ass cheek showing for all to see, jumped it again, road to my truck, loaded it, and headed home.

I couldn't let it get the best of me.

Haha I have done something just like that. Really sucks bad when the nose dives down and come to a complete stop only to fly over the bars. I broke nothing and not a scratch on me lucky I guess.

Another "moment" I had was on the track and was coming around a corner and hit a dirtbike rut. The front tire went down. So outta instinct I put my let leg down to prevent fliping (I have long legs) and when I did it jamming my hip, damaging my cartilage. Doctors tell me if I don't get any better then I will need surgery. Yeah well im 23 years old.  Been like this since late last summer.

 in the spirit of 4gunz, I'll start my story in the same fashion as his stories start..

This one time, at crash camp....

I got 2 of my kids some rappy 80's.. and Im checkin them out ya know.. gettin a feel for them. So after a few bottle of liquid courage, I decide to show my kids how to ride a wheelie on these lil machines. So I make a few attempts, with no success. Apparently the 80cc motor does NOT like to hold up a 230lb man..

Soo, I decide to try about 3/4 throttle, hold it up in 1st gear, and then dump it.. so I go for it.. and here we go.. wheelie across the yard. I turn around, to come back, same tatics, and wind up getting pwned by the 80... flat on my back..

It was then I realized, I do not bounce like I used to..  :grin_nod:

Horsepower is like a condom, I'd rather have it and not need it.. Than need it and not have it.
