and i wish i had a snowmobile too. a yamaha apex is the one i want. damn $10,000 sled though. can't see spending that to use it once maybe twice a year.

not behind a truck, but we have taken a hood out as a sled before. freakin awesome!

i have never done it before. i have only heard stories and saw pics. it sounds like fun. i just don't have a spare hood to go and FERK up. and i'm not about to use mine off my truck.

I remember building snow forts when we got snow. Awesome.

My fondest memory was sledding down this acre hill in my girlfriends backyard, and my friend breaking his femur when we hit their cement bird bath. I had to drag his ass back up the hill. I was in the ninth grade, and we got like 7 inches of snow. School was closed for three or four days. It was awesome.

my greatest memory of deep snow was back in 2000. that was still when we had our snowmobile so it made it even more fun. there was about a 6 foot tall drift in front of my house. they had to use the 6X6 road grader with a V plow on the front, and 2 attempts to get through the damn thing. that was a great snow.

last year we had a storm come through. cut off in front of our front porch from ground to the top it was about 8' high

So it is snowing like a bitch here....Windy...cold....gotta love it.  When the cold front hits, temp will drop 30+ degrees tonight to -3. high of 10 tomorrow.
