Dependability- any conventional shock should be more reliable due to the massive spring on the outside. All shocks will end up busting a seal in due time. However, you'd be surprise how many people blow out conventional shock seals years ago & still use the same shock due to the larger spring. The Fox Floats have springs inside the shock body, but not enough to get you home if you bust a seal.
