Kenneth, a lot of folks (Myself included) have always wondered about Fox Float longevity and rebuild-ability.  Can you help us out with some of your experiences with these?

This gentleman just ran 1000 miles on his  http://www.raptorsource.com/forum/index.php?topic=196.0 , so we know they take a beating, we just want to hear if there's any down side to these vice a high $$ normal shock (IE motowitz)

Dependability- any conventional shock should be more reliable due to the massive spring on the outside. All shocks will end up busting a seal in due time. However, you'd be surprise how many people blow out conventional shock seals years ago & still use the same shock due to the larger spring. The Fox Floats have springs inside the shock body, but not enough to get you home if you bust a seal.

You can not go wrong with Motowoz, Axis , or the fox float lineup.
