I think you would be just as happy with your 660 Modded.

I feel you I wanted to get rid of my Polarass when the KTM came out. I'm now going to buy shocks. get the head ported, new cam, and make it a 540

This thread should be huge because you can buy a 660 fairly reasonable and sped your money on all the upgrades!!

Very true. I did just that for a couple years, but the repairs started costing more than the mods...so bye-bye. That being said, I would still buy a 660 today if I could afford another quad. My wife wanted to keep it for herself. But I don't have the time anymore to keep it going. In some ways I am going to miss it, but only a little. I will miss the wheelie craziness. But I really like the balance of this new 700.  :thumbs:

I ride a 700 ,bought it two years ago but I think if I bought a spare that a 660 could be fun just because you could sink some money in it for trick everything,swinger,a-arms shocks I cant see buying some of that stuff for my 700 due to its good enough already,could be fun.
