A few hourly folks i know around here, at various factories have had their hours cut to 32, in an attempt to keep them. Hard to swallow, but better than the alternative.

We are battening down the hatches at work, nothing extreme, just gotta keep our eyes open. We are busy now, but you never know......

Ironically, my wife reports much higher than expected sales (Target), at least for our area. Folks are out shopping...but they are just not shopping for the big stuff....cars, atv's, motorcycles, homes.. We gotta get this bank lending crisis in order NOW! Sure, it was a time of great growth, (too much IMO)  but now regular folks are paying the price for other's mistakes....It has to be drastic, and some will be hurt by it I am sure. For the rest of us, it is all about our attitude.

Krandall

Yeah, places like target and walmart I can see reporting higher sales. people arent going to the big name places. savin some pennies goin to the family shops instead.

Catch you all later! 8)
