Born in San Jose, California. (pop: 800,000 plus)
Moved to Danville, Iowa in 1988. (pop: 995) 
Not sure they had seen too many skateboarding dudes here then.

Dad worked for one of the first companies to develop microwaves. It was developed in San Jose. There were 5+ factories making them.....now, there are none. Korean products are cheaper. He was born here, Mom was from San Fran. we moved back and tried the country/farm life thing when the factories shut down. Chickens, horses, cows and all. Didn't take well, but they still have the horses.

I live with my family in New London, Ia. 5 miles from Danville.   Some days I miss Cali, some days, not so much.
