Ok so here is the deal... A buddy and I MAY be coming. If we did I think we would come up saturday morning, ride all day saturday and then ride a bit sunday.

I just called the hotel and apparently they are booked up. Does anyone have a room they want to split with two more guys? The operator at the hotel said they have plenty of roll aways so im sure we can cram them in there (or even just bring sleeping bags for the floor). I have stayed here before and its a pretty nice place and the rooms are of decent sized.

I have a few messages into steve about getting me two of those universal Spark arrestors (HMF ones I think) for my barkers but no response yet...guess it ulimately depends if he can get two sparkys to me before the ride date!

Is anyone camping? Might have to even consider that if the weather will be half way decent.

I just finished my build and bought some extremes and missed out on my riding groups "big" ride out to Utah last week, so I at least want to hit up the miny dunes and meet some forum members!

If anyone has a good place to buy those universal sparky screens at a good price online let me know so I can purchase some ASAP to get them by friday. Steve only charges 10 per (so like 27 shipped priority). I found a few places but some want almost 20 bucks PER screen!

and just so everyone knows. if you need a sparky or quiet core i will have 3 quiet cores and a couple extra sparkys if anyone needs one. these are for barker style mounts(i know HMF pipes and a few others have the same style spraky mounts.) but i will want them back at the end of the weekend.

Warren do you have two extra sparkys I could throw in my barkers just for saturday? Not sure if I can get some here in time so was not sure if I was going to make the trip.

ok for everybody asking about sparkys and quiet cores. i have 2 sparkys and 3 quiet cores.


the sparkys are called for by 4gunz but i still have the 3 quiet cores, and they have spark arrestors on them. so anybody that needs a sparky will have to use one of the 3 quiet cores i have. i will be up there friday morning after breakfast(sometime around 9AM i'm thinking) so whoever needs one come hit me up. i'll post a pic of my truck and trailer set up one wensday this week.  :thumbs:

At least u have a good excuse. Some of my friends that have quads are too scared to go, so I'll be drivin up solo.
