Absolutely... I don't know how we have survived all this crap without shooting ourselves! They must believe we can handle it once every 4 years.

Really, I think at the end of the election, losing candidate should become the VP. Both sides will be happy. And...we have all sides represented in govt. Might get rid of some of the garbage smear ads you get in the mail. Eliminating negative ad campaigns-got one today that said Obama was making pipe bombs in his basement.

Yup, totally tired of the garbage from both sides.  Personally I don't believe either side is honest with us, they both say what they think you need to hear in order to vote for them.  At the end of the day, you just have to weed through all the crap and decide whose basic philosophy lines up best with your own on the issues that matter to you.

I was talking yesterday with a guy @ work.

He made an interesting point. Because I'm not for Obama and I'm not for McCain.... It'd be interesting to see more people running for president vs. just 2 people. It'd be nice if they made the playing field more even. Say.. Each candidate gets 5 million for advertising, that's it. Do what you want and hope it works out. They'd be able to pull in more people who are more qualified in the end than the 2 we get stuck with normally.

Vote for Nader! The last good one was Perot, who was much too crazy to be prez. I wanted to vote for him though, based on his goofy character alone.
