I have been seeing a lot of quads with wheels spacers.  From what I know wheel spacers are a bad idea in cars, but quads are a totally different beast.  What do you guys think about wheel spacers??

Pros, Cons, which are good if one was to buy a set?!? You know, the good, the bad, and the ugly about spacers.

From what i hear there ok if you not going to be jumping. I think there is extended hubs that are better than the spacers.

Check Rocky Mountain ATV, they have a set of G Force Rear Wheel Hubs that I plan on adding on pretty soon.  Friend of mine has a pair, and says their a great product.

I ran GeForce spacers on the rear of my 660 for about a year. No problem at all, but I don't get huge air. Really improved the stability in the sand. I rolled it, flipped it, and did some pretty aggressive riding in muddy, rocky, rutted, typical northwest woods riding and never had a problem with the wheels spacers. I really miss my 660.

I tried the front spacers, but they gave too much bump steer. Got rid of them.

I have the F-force extended rear hubs and have beat the SNOT or of them and have had no problems.....knock on wood.

I would do hubs on the rear, but I would not use anything cheap on the front end. It will put more leverage on all the joints and wear them out pre-maturely. Not to mention more bump steer.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

Wheel spacers are a great alternative...if you are not going to be riding really hard MX. Heck, I just bought the cheap studs that bolt on and they held up to a week of jumping at little sahara. I was sure I would bend one. I have them on because my paddles came on narrower offset wheels than the front.

I have front 1" aluminum and rear 2" aluminum spacers from Magic Racing . 0 problems just got back from a 700 mile ride in Baja. They have been in sevice for over 2 years on both my sons and my quad. Solid billit and very strong.

I like them for the rear, but not the front, puts too much pressure on the steering and spindles. Makes the steering twitchy.

Oh, I only see a red x :(

I like those. More common for side by sides and utilities.

What do you guys think about the Durablue EZ-Fit??

BRAD

Durablue is a good brand for spacers.  I almost bought a set of them awhile back when I was considering widening the Rappy out some.

I like the other style. CAn be removed quickly for different setup.

The time for removal is not an issue.  I usually have my setups done the night before. The thing for me is strength mostly.  I won't be doing any jumping, mostly sand and trail riding.
