New game: Name that kid

Well it looks like my wife and I are having a girl and I should be getting my second strike in about 18 years from now.  But we have a first name picked out and just needed to hear what people thought about the middle name. 

Option 1:  Addison Jenee' Springinsguth       Jenee' is my wife's name and she liked the idea of the nick name AJ.

Option 2:  Addison Berlin Springinsguth       If you couldn't tell by my last name I'm German and we liked the idea of Berlin as a middle name.

And feel free to make fun of ethier ideas at your own risk.

I killed my grandparents so they are out.  Never knew Jenee's so we have to stick to other names.

Pretty much heartless.  And the ones that I can be in the same room with have crappy names.

Both are very cool first names, I would flip a coin on the middle name.

Berlin would be awesome, but naming her after your wife would be special.

Of course if you pick Berlin, your childs initials would be short for Anti lock Brake System.

I pick option 2. I agree with COlorado, but I believe rocking raybans like tom cruise is downright AWESOME! besides, Berlin sounds nice.

I have a whole procedure for baby names. There is a syllable pattern I follow... and drove my wife bonkers with.

Does your wife pronounce her name Jen-nie or Jen-nay. Is the accent cosmetic or for real. If it is real, the name Jennee' sounds great as the middle name. You put the accent on the last syllable it becomes a nice flowing name. If not, I stick to my first vote.

My name choosing procedure actually boils down to this:
"What will it sound like when the Superintendent of his/her high school announces their name as they walk across to receive their diploma?"

And...make it easy to pronounce and read. A complicated name does not make you appear smarter. At least to me.

Say it a thousand times before choosing.

Jenee' is like Renee' but with a "J"   So more like Jen-nay.  Get in your french accent mode and then say it...you're about spot on then.
