There was a 74' vette parked at a car audio place by my apt for sale a few weeks ago. I looked it over just out of curiosity.. Had hail damage needed new paint. Interior was decent. Asking $5,000 

You can hardly give away the 71-79 Vette's around these parts.

I've got a friend that has been bit by the classic Corvette bug. I just went and looked at a 1977 model for $6000. The car is black, and where the paint is cracking, it's red underneath. Very rough. I think it's not worth a penny over $3000. Needless to say it belonged to a used car dealer's deceased grandfather here in Sallisaw, so there is an attachment to the car, and I doubt they would go lower than $5000 for the car.

Oh well, that's where I've been for the last hour!

If the VIN numbers match up, and it's in good shape but needs minor repair, sure.

Same here. Seems everything is starting to pick up though. Before you couldn't hardly give away an early 60's truck or car. Not the desired models. But now they are even starting to pick up in price round here.

Anything in the 60's era goes for top dollar around here. I used to buy 68-72 Chev & GMC 2 and 4wd PU and fix em up and sell em for a nice profit....but now even a damn basket case is high dollar
