I did a plus5 hotrod and 105 bore on mine and I'm in the middle of doing another one.  Try it, you'll like it

So where did you see the power gain on the dyno.  Low, mid or high?

I can't believe no one posted this for you. Complete test and review of the +5 crank.

Just a little 81hp trail bike.

Nice work preddy, mine feels alot stronger and even though they say this doesn't add any on the top end I have pretty good top end on mine when riding.  It actually feels much stronger through the entire range :grin_nod:

It was posted on here too.

But I think he wanted to hear from some of the owners of this and not the vendors.  Others that have tested this found the gains to be on the low end and not the top end.

A semi-unrelated question.. Because I don't remember the answer.

How come the TQ/HP Readings always cross @ the 5200rpm mark?

I dont beleive you will lose anything on the top end with the 5mil... When troy and I raced before he had the 5mil I kicked the hell outta him on the top, after he added the 5mil he walked away from me on the top end. I added a drag axle and he still walked away from me on top.... Cant wait till the other 5mil troy is working on gets done...   :grin_nod:

But what build did he have before? Was he already a 727?

It has to do with how HP and TQ are figured. They dont ALWAYS have to, but in most cases they do.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

A dynamometer can either directly measure torque output by measuring the force exerted on the rollers, or can directly measure horsepower by measuring the acceleration of a weighted roller. It then calculates the unknown value based on the RPM and the measurement.
Horsepower is a function of RPM. (torque x rpm Divided by 5252 = horsepower. You will see that HP and TQ always cross (are equal) at 5,252 RPM on the graph. This is because of the division in the formula above. Below that point, the torque is greater, and above that point, the horsepower will peak.
