Here are pictures of my 700 with the drag struts powdercoater built for me  Thanks for the nice work paul . Need some input, do you guys think this will help keep the front end down or make it worse because of no weight transfer.

wow that looks even better than the cell phone pics lol  :jaw:

powder coater

It should help with the wheeling problem I would think. How did it sit with that length? Is it down as far as you wanted it?

well when i sat on it, i could touch flat foot on the ground and still be comfortable, he said he couldnt get the atv jack out from under it it sat so low, so yea id say its low enough but he would have to say so himself lol

powder coater

Sounds good mine sat 5" off the ground. I play hell trying to change the oil. Another mistake I made was unloading it out of my truck by grabbing the back and running backwards. The damn thing bounce like a super ball turned 90deg. and shot right back at me. I wont do that again.

looks nice. Could be mistaken for an ice racer.
Krandall: "peelz. I'll be real with you. As much as I hate on you for soccer, I really don't mind it"

Wow its hard to tell how low it really sits with the fenders cut
Looks great badazz

Your swingarm looks like it angles up hill  ???  Does the chain adjustment seem normal to you?

For last years ice races I used a CRJ lowering kit & had the rear link flipped, I found chain adjustment to be a little different.  For proper sag when seated on the machine the chain had to be very tight when the rider was off the quad?

I think Bama had some issues as well with chain adjustment.....

badazz - hows it feel riding it that low?

1badazz_700r

It sits plenty low.about 3-4" off the ground. The chain adjustment wasvery minimal,i had to tighten it a little. The only thing is the front tires toe in a little bit. I dont think enough to worry about for a 300' drag. If we get to race today (rain) i will post up some videos. Im thinking if the front end stays down and i get good reaction times i should dip into the 4's. Thanks guys

im going to say for sure on sunday. I will put the 15t back on this week and adjust the tie rods. see what this thing will run 1/4 mile while i got the struts on it  Should be pretty fun,its a test and tune for 6 hours so you can run as many times as you want. Im going to have to say 65mph in the 1/4.  38 hp probably wont get me any faster than that

Good work Paul, I might have to get a set later.
I wonder if adjustable struts would be beneficial?
Look for me just in front of ol Paul. lol
