I think metal up your ass ride the lightning/...and justice for all were the best

kyle you mean "kill em all"?  Ride the lightning was #2 and ROCKS!

I totally agree  with Brian on the Bob Rock thing. not sure what happened there  ??? I do remember seeing the behind the music and Hetfield saying they have a "carte blanche" and can do what they want. Well on st anger, they did..and it didn't work. Looks like with the new album they went back to what they do well. Simple, yet effective METAL! Not as much weird stuff.

I like them all, aside from st anger. I even like load and reload. I find myself leaning away from kill em all a bit. Unless I plug in my guitar..then, no remorse is the first song I play.  dun dun duh-duh, dun dun duh-duh, dun dun duh-duh, dun dun DUH!   :grin_nod:

My order of favorites:  You really can't go wrong here. Someone will argue with me on the order...but they would be right too...they all kick a$$!

1. And justice for all
2. Master of puppets
3. ride the lightning
4. Black album.
5. Garage Inc.- rocks!
6. S&M
7. load
8 reload
9. death magnetic-we'll see if this moves up-so far so good!
10. St. anger

Still can't believe Robert Trujillo plays bass for them. I was/am a huge Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves fan. It is weird to see him playing with Metallica. He still looks like a kid in a candy store with the other guys on stage. 8)

good point. I listed them meaning I can leave the album on and not skip any songs.

i cant really do that. always a few i dont like. i dont dig the real early THRASH stuff, but some of its ok like seek and destroy or ride the lightning, but thats basically as heavy as i get.

about half through "the day that never comes".... eeeh not so much really, not heavy enough, and it doesnt have enough cool guitar parts and such.
