The site has changed recently so I can't find the previous ATV record holder, I thought it was a Predator 500 @ 72 mph.   I will be visiting the track soon

I saw a banshee hit 90 something in the 1/8th down here a month or two ago.

For everyone else reading this, we were at D-Town & saw a Turbo Banshee on alcohol
It was very fast

Bert, do you know if they run brackets there for ATV's?

No I don't know. I however plan to race on the 27th, maybe I should give them a call.

I'm going to try 15/36 gearing on the highway & see how that works.....

People at the track are really cool & aside from safety issues I think they'd let anything race 

If you go to watch a night race it like $10 to get in & you can have a bonfire, grill & drink beer while watching the races

how often are races held there? When you goin? May be worth a trip down w/ the woman just to watch.

Work was exciting today & I forgot to call the dragstrip.....

They have races scheduled through the end of October. I plan on going the 27th but I'll call about the quad & see.  I'd be dissapointed if they wouldn't allow quads     If not I'll bring the bike & try not to crash

Good times
-hanging by the start line & being shaded from the sun by a cloud of tire smoke
-smelling the Nitrous when they purge the system during a burnout
-watching the rear tires wrinkle  on a launch
-cars popping the front tires off the start

Quad will be allowed without knobby tires  & appropiate rider safety gear racing with the sleds & bikes. Trophy class is $40 & guaranteed 4 runs before losing. As Rick pointed out the Raptor doesn't have to be as fast as the sleds or bikes, just consistent runs to win    Yah, like that'll happen 
I wanted to bring my "bald" stockers & do several John Force inspired burnouts but the NHRA rules dictate no knobbies.  Not going to melt my Duro's    My stockers have left rubber on my fenders before, I wonder how warm they were . . .
