I will probably get more done today at work than I have for the last two weeks combined.  When the phone doesn't ring I can actually focus on my projects.

I get that same effect here. But it usually happens to me. If I take a day off while my operators are still workin, I pay the price later.

I can't complain to much, since I am working today I get to keep the 8 hours of vaction time and use it later when I want to.  I tend to work alot of holidays, but that means i get longer vactions.

Looks like Gustav is now a Cat 2, oil prices are back to falling after markets overseas saw it wasn't as strong as first predicited. Thank GERD.

We had 20 planes land bringing evacuees to Fort Smith yesterday. I'm sure our tax dollars paid for that.

They still have to get back after the storm too.

If I had to evacuate my home every 3 years I don't think I would get on the plane to bring me back there.
