Alright maybe I'm losing it, but I guess I'll just toss this out there.  FourWerx makes REAL carbon fiber products.  We do not use "carbon fiber coatings' or anything of that matter.  We are one of the few companies out there who believe that there is an actual use for carbon fiber/ titanium / and other lightweight products.  If you are just wanting the "carbon fiber Look" ( even though it looks nothing like carbon fiber when printed ) then go with Maier or Quadtech who are just making fake looking parts.

Now if you actually care about running the real thing, come to me as I can do that.  Quality is huge with FourWerx and you'll get nothing but that from us.  I know there is a concern with $ being spent on certain parts, but you DO get what you pay for and you can't expect to pay for mild steel and get GOLD.

Jay

+1  Totally agree.

agreed....That is what i was wondering. My only concern, is that I keep the Raptor's factory lines.

Now, go make an entire carbon fiber body kit. How sweet(expensive) would that be!

Stealth Raptor! Had that daydream many times...All blacked out!

Just want to say that I only used a carbon look so you guys could get a rough idea & I am in no way able to use carbon fibre I only did a few designs but at the end of the day it is fourwerx that will say what happens as they know what they are doing and I don't  8)

Ok, well never mind. Guess I was way off base here

Any Idea on weight savings with you CF hoods?
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

FourWerx

I'm not trying to get on anyones case, especially you Bugsby.  You do good work!

My main point was just to tell you guys that I do not do the "look" thing.. I do the real thing.  There were a couple guys that were talking about carbon fiber coatings, and I just do not go that route.

Basically with a carbon fiber hood, your looking at a few ounces of savings over plastic.  Weight is weight though, and between the look and weight savings its worth the $.

Not to mention that Carbon Fibre looks the nutts too, my buddy had a Ducati that had Carbon Fibre panels all over it and the thing looked really sweet.
Only other thing I like the look of more then Carbon Fibre is Kevlar.
I know you wasn't getting on my case Fourwerx I was just pointing out that you know what has to be done with Carbon Fibre when it comes down to manufacturing as where I don't  ;)

I was a bit excited when I pm'd Busby about throwing out some design ideas.  I didn't mean to step on your toes Jay.  With the 700 being a high sales quad I beleive the market is waiting for FourWerx to raise the bar  :)

FourWerx

I just want to thank those of you who understand the meaning of quality and functionality in a part.  I myself do not own a raptor, but I do take great passion for the sport and installing a quality part onto my machines and those of my customers is the highest satisfaction I could recieve.  When planning out my builds I'm always taking into consideration the factors that come into play throughout my entire machine.  If I'm running a high quality exhaust, i do not want to mix in cheap other parts to take away from my build.  This is why I use only the best available products, and let me tell you.. there is nothing more eye catching than a  real carbon fiber product.

Bugsby, what kind of Duc does you friend have? I have an 08 Ducati 848 and its going thru the entire CF treatment right now.  It'll be 99% full carbon fiber bodywork, along with a full Carbon fiber/Kevlar fuel tank. :) Can't wait!!!

 Check the name
He had a Duc 916 if i remember right, he spent loads on it then sold it and went over to super moto now he just rides a naked kawa as his normal means of getting to and from work.
Your 848 should look sweet when it has been done. It is amazing how just a few carbon fibre parts make a massive change in just looks.

How much would it be for a set (Engine and swinger Skid) for a 700?

Kenneth

I'd like a full body skid for the YFZ Jay. Let me know when and how much to pay you.

I'm gonna stay out of the line of skidplates for the time being with all of these other things going on.  If you can make me a template I can cut something out for ya as long as its flat, otherwise I'm sorry right now I just can't take that project on.
