I hope the throttle adjustment works out for you, a Honda throttle robs 2.5 HP
My bad, the Honda throttle actually adds 2.5 HP
have you guys heard that?

Hey, If I lose 2.5 hp with the throttle mod, I can just remove the headlights and be all right!

I've heard it, its from I love Lucy.

And go with the Terry cable Dual.  Both my friends have that and they love it.  Its on my list of things to get.

I meant: have you heard changing the throttle robs power? "AWWWW RICKYYYYYY!"

Sorry Peels, I was reading the yamaha/honda throttle comparison dyno graph upside down.  Its really a 2.5 HP gain

Yea, but I heard if you use titanium screws inside with a hermaphrodite spring kit, you'll have a lose gain back. Hope this makes sense Peels.

One more actually on-topic question:  If you do this, do you remove cable at the thumb lever or at the hinge next to carbs. Does it matter? Sorry I have an old fashioned 660. Not sure where throttle goes for 700.  Any help please. This would be a free mod for me.

You would remove the cable right at the throttle.  The stock Yamaha cable will thread into the honda throttle.

That's awesome!

So. Do all honda throttles just push easier than the rappy's?  I may steal my bro's 400ex one just to try it out.

A 400ex has about the best leverage advantage.
???
Which Honda throttles are the same, all of them?

Thanks Bert, I didn't see that post.

Interesting, I'll have to try it out to see how it feels.
