Hey, If I lose 2.5 hp with the throttle mod, I can just remove the headlights and be all right!

I've heard it, its from I love Lucy.

And go with the Terry cable Dual.  Both my friends have that and they love it.  Its on my list of things to get.

I was think'n maybe a piece of bling for the throttle cover.

Yea, but I heard if you use titanium screws inside with a hermaphrodite spring kit, you'll have a lose gain back. Hope this makes sense Peels.

One more actually on-topic question:  If you do this, do you remove cable at the thumb lever or at the hinge next to carbs. Does it matter? Sorry I have an old fashioned 660. Not sure where throttle goes for 700.  Any help please. This would be a free mod for me.

You would remove the cable right at the throttle.  The stock Yamaha cable will thread into the honda throttle.
