I have heard of them being unlocked all the time, I have two of them

One has a crack across the screen cover ($13 on ebay)
other than that it only has minor scratches (had a rubber sleeve on it)

The other one just has minor scratches

They are a great phone, I have one and I'll never go back to a simple cell phone.  I'd sure like to get an IPhone if the bastards ever make it up here!!!  I could get an unlocked one from ebay or something but I had another phone I unlocked and it lost alot of funtions, mostly web stuff.  It kindof defeated the prupose of having it.  Anyone knoe if this is the case with the IPhone?
