Great question, I just installed my barkers and noticed that the wires are really close to the left pipe.

I used a small piece of muffler wrap for a temp fix.
I want to use something more professional if you know what i mean.

Bought Kool-it tubing from Jegs ( car parts catalog ) and enclosed all wiring in the pipe area....Easy stuff to use, it`s semi rigid, flexable and you just slit it length wise and it goes over wiring.....No need to remove wiring.....Comes in various diameters and withstands high heat and high reflective heat..............Sandaddy  8)

Hey dmx.........I`ll try to post up some pics in the next day or so......But other then looking at duals, my bike won`t look spacing wise, necessarily like the next one you see. It kinda depends on how much time you will spend on installation. How you adjust your head pipe, mid pipe and can will make a big difference on how close you come to that wiring on left side....I`ve seen anywhere from pipe touching wiring ( very dangerous ) to 1/2 inch to 3/4 of an inch away....If you take the time to play with the set-up...You`ll be rewarded with good spacing and matching can position at rear.............Good luck with your duals when you get theml.....They produce such a sweet sound    :grin_nod:...............Sandaddy  8)

I also done this, but also covered the wires in heat reflective tape, which works very well.A strip of this tape is included when you buy Monster duals  ,but its avaliable at hardware and auto car shops  :grin_nod:

Lots of good ideas here, looking for the one that is neat and effective.
:)I actually have room and it might be ok,just want that extra safeguard.
