I did this in school in FFA. A friend of mine had a hog farm, and this was standard proceedure when the hogs where  a week or so old.

Yup....That was the thing to do in school here..... I did it for the shop time...welding, etc.. I was high county individual for three years in a row in several events.

Gotcha! We didn't have FFA @ my school which was weird since at least 50% of the people there lived or worked on farms.
