71-72ish  ???

My buddy had a Predator (2004).  Motor and tranny were fine.  Airbox was a pain in the ass , but it always ran good

darkside94

hmm that is reallistically way more than i wanna do any way so i would be happy with that

Put a pipe, clamp on twin air filter, and jet to 175, and hold on. They are GOOD runners.

When I was a three mod and my buddys predator was just a 574 he had a good 4-5 bike lengths on me.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

hey i posted this same thing at predator owners but those asses dont know anything

Hey. I have been looking at aftermarket exhaust for the Predator i may soon own. I have come down to two different brands and was wondering which exhaust did you think was better. On one hand I have found several Pro Circuit T4 exhausts brand new on ebay for 279.99. I have heard nothing but good about them and I know that they are one of the top brands. I would like to know what they sound like but that will in no way affect my decision which I am basing on performance. On the other hand I was looking at the HMF sport series. I know that they are loud but I do not know what kind of performance boost it gives. I found these for only 220.99 at an online retailer. Please tell me what you know about these exhausts and help me make my decision.

i would go with the HMF since you will be saving some money. and with the extra cash you saved i would invest in a jet kit
2007 GYTR Raptor
ROCK series skids
Yoshimura RS7
Motoworks Fuel programmer-(Dobeck Style)
Holeshot HD tires

does anybody know of some dynos of hmf & pro circuit for a four wheeler preferably a predator

Good luck finding a dyno for a predator compairing the two exhauts. My buddy had a procircut and I had a HMF. The HMF and the PC really are about the same DB. HMF's customer service is second to none! I had a buddy's HMF that was on his YFZ for three years. Held up pretty well till he herd some rattling. The inner baffles came loose. He called up HMF and the sent him out a new one!

I would do what ever is cheaper.

All you need to do is put a 4 dollar main jet in and be done with it. Save the money and get a 40 dollar clamp on filter and hold on! Once you get rid of that crappy air filter setup youll never go back.

There is a bunch of guys parting out preadtor on predatorowners.com. You could pick up a cheap pipe and have money left over.

the hmf comes with jets but im not sure what they are
why would i just need main jets and not a whole jet kit

Get a pipe, clamp on filter, and a 175 main jet.
