Kids today seem to get everything handed to them.  Dad buys them a car and they trash it.  Plus they have no idea on how to work for what they have.

Its just an over all point of view.  For the most part the kids I see that have things handed to them never learn how to take care of their crap.  I never said that there isn't' cases where kids like that turn out ok.

Lets just say your lucky you are not my son or my dads son.  He would never buy me a ktm or a truck after doing something like that.  I would have to earn that trust back.

Ya gotta think about it this way... Theres plenty of different parenting techniques what works for RK's parents might be against or completely opposite of how you were raised.

Nothing pissed my off more than people giving me shit for my old man helping me out with a car. What am I suppose to do, turn it down? Those people are just jealous, and need to make them selfs feel better.

Case in point....I worked for my first vehicle.....a used Nissan truck. I still own it.

My sister gets a BRAND NEW Honda Accord with leather and a sunroof.

She's had it since she was 16, and from day one it has been trashed.

I baby all of my rides.

I give people a hard time when dad buys them a car and they trash it and just get in line for another one.  No respect for what they have.  I was never jealous, I had really nice stuff because I busted my ass to get it.
