How the F*ck do you break a vise?!?!?!

I was trying to straighten part of my skid plate and my iron vise snapped one side off. Now i owe my dad a new one  :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

idk it was my dads...

but hahaha, yea i was putting all my weight into it AND had a pipe on the lever so i could get more torque  :confused: , but i still wasnt expecting it to break...

if you got skills you can weld cast......it ain't easy and takes a lot of heat
sold the raptor....full on 05 yfz in progress...

stock parts: fuel tank, swingarm and rear shock

Damn, I have never heard of that before.

I broke two hammers in about 15 minutes once, but that is still a long ways away from breaking a vise.

i don't know about a vise but my dad always told me i could tear up an avail(sp) with a rubber mallet.  :clap: :clap:

It is very hard to weld. Like u said if u have alot of heat u can weld it. But after u weld it u need to put it in to an oven and slowly lower the temp untill u get it cooled off for the welds to hold good.

but seriously he's right. it will need to be cooled off slow if you manage to weld it.
