Is it bad I havent ever checked my spark plug? had it 2 years

if it runs good leave it alone, although id check it when i did the oil changes and other maint.

if its runnin ok then its fine. but i would probably go ahead and swap it out anyways. especially after 2yrs

Nothing like riding on a fresh plug. I would change it once a year depending on how much you ride.

I know on my snowmobile.. After 15ish hours of riding I'd change mine and you could feel the power difference.. not sure if this is the same though on a 4stroke motor.

I believe the CR8IEX is the iridium plug for the 700.  I think it runs smoother with it.

i run that plug in mine now that i have gotten my fuel controller back and it seems to run better with thatt plug
