what are you fishing for then? If you're not fishing walley or northern you ain't been fishin.

So that's not fishing unless I fish for those two?     I spend most of my time bass fishing, fishing on the big lake for salmon or brown trout and I'm also an avid fly fisher.  But you may not want to try that......it takes talent.   

no no no/ I'm just rebuting the fact you said all we had was pan fish. Pan fish like Bass baits. But, If you've been to Minnesota and you were fishing for bass, you're fishin for the wrong stuff. Gotta go for the stuff that puts up a real fight! :grin_nod:

Thats why I go for bass.  Most northern you can just drag out of the water.  And Musky really only put up a good fight in warmer weather.  But my roots are in bass fishing.

bass is the bomb man here in ohio thats the best fish to catch,i got a largemouth 22 1/2 inch 8ib 6oz up on the wall,went to the UP and fished for two weeks and it sucked ass cuz we didnt have a boat so it was snag heaven,didnt catch shit the whole time!!

When I moved here from Ca, we went to visit my Uncle here we were driving away from his farm(next to a hog lot) to go out to eat. my dad goes "mmmmm, smell that money!" I was 13 at the time, 1988.    Farmers, wtf. They grew up here......
