I want to own an ATV/offroad shop. I like building and working on motors and making one off things. And want to run the parts side of the shop like it should be ran, where parts are shipped on time and for a descent price. I am tired of parts not being here when they are suppossed to be.

These are classy high end male specific salons that are starting to pop up which cater to the guys who can afford it.  I watched a special on a cable channel and wanted to go.  They had a poker table, pool table, cigar lounge and of course a bar.  Theres something about a straight razor shave that screams "I'm the shit!"  The only thing that could make it any better would be strippers dancing on the barber poles.  (maybe not)  So if there's a bunch of rich pretentious fuks where you live, or just some wealthy men who know what they like....

Ive been to that type of place. SUper relaxing. shave, haircut...with no girly hair magazines laying around. Motorycle magazines, car magazines...cigars....no flowers lol  good stuff.

I'm in the market for a bar now. I've got a big budget for it, but I don't think it's still enough.

run away from that idea..... run like you have never ran before!
it will eat your soul
you will either become a huge alky who drinks all his profit, or obsessed over every dime your waitress's and bartenders steal from you...
and they will steal.. they all do
invest that money smarter my friend, there are a million ways to invest your money....
a bar is in the top 10 worst IMO
go to random bars NOT in your area (so they will speak honestly with you)
and talk to the owners, get a no bullshit answer from them...
if you could do it all over again would you?
ask about theft and sweethearting (the art of giving free drinks to your buddies)
ask them how much money they actually KEEP, it is never about what you make... only what you get to keep
ask them what they would do diffrent
I have 2 good friends that own bars, and BOTH would go another route if given the choice

become the best ATV speed shop in the world
that would make you happy... not a bar!
a bar would make you crazy!
